When the schedule for the 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Training Program simply does not fit the work structure and schedules for an organization, we offer customized classes that fit the needs of the organization and promote employee engagement and convenience.
You can order this as a stand-alone product or our presentations can be added to any of our other training series. Employees find these presentations useful to engage their interest and enthusiasm for the classes.
Retreats provide an opportunity for participants to withdraw from work and other daily responsibilities to give specific attention to developing mindfulness skills.
In these retreats, we introduce and teach several mindfulness practices to participants, including meditation, mindful movement, and practical suggestions for incorporating mindfulness in the workplace and one’s life.
In these secluded and supportive spaces, we provide an intensive learning experience, guiding participants through a series of mindful exercises and practices, building one upon the other as the retreat progresses. Through meditation, gentle stretching, personal reflections and practical daily applications, each participant has the opportunity to focus on the self – exploring personal biases and tendencies to act on autopilot. Participants identify alternative ways to respond without bias or emotional reactivity. They cultivate focus, clarity, self-understanding, and compassion.
Mindful leaders filter “noise” to focus on key elements, think creatively and clearly, remain calm under stress, and maintain compassion for others. These qualities are challenged in our fast-paced, constantly-connect world where the pressure to produce is high and work demands are inexhaustible. Many executives have difficulty remembering the details of their many meetings. With little time to engage in creative thinking, they become reactive to problems, rather than measured in their responses. Relationships with peers and direct reports suffer when executives struggle to hear what others are saying while their minds are filled with deadlines and responsibilities. 1:1 mindfulness-based coaching is ideal for the executive who wishes cultivate the mindful leadership skills of present moment nonjudgmental awareness, focus, clarity, calmness, resilience, and compassion in work and in daily life.
