The programs are highly experiential – participants learn various mindfulness practices during the classes and engage in mindfulness exercises between classes. Kathleen has received extensive training in teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from the Center for Mindfulness through the University of Massachusetts Medical School, founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and is a Qualified MBSR Teacher. Kathy has been practicing and teaching mindfulness for the past 10 years. She practices meditation, yoga, and mindfulness daily in her life.
